Welcome to ILLiad at City of Hope

To provide you with better service, Graff Library uses ILLiad to manage interlibrary loan and document delivery requests. With ILLiad:

  • You only enter your personal and billing information once-when you register.
  • You can enter new requests, view the status of outstanding requests, download articles that have been received, and view items you have requested in the past.

The first time you use ILLiad, you will need to register for an account. When you register, you acknowledge the copyright information below and agree to the terms and conditions in the Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery FAQ. Please read through them carefully before registering.

WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted materials.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research". If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.

This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.

Registering for an ILLiad account

When you click the button below, you will be taken to a registration form, in which you will be asked to enter your contact and billing information and select a username and password. You can choose any username or password, but we recommend that you:
  • Use your City of Hope username (if you have one) to make your username easier to remember
  • Follow good security practices when creating a password.
